Jayden Smith is an Australian neurodivergent author and illustrator from the Northern Beaches of New South Wales and the creator of Mind Entities.

Growing from his interest in psychology, creature design and worldbuilding, Mind Entities began with an unusual question: what if the strange thoughts, feelings and urges we experience were caused by creatures living inside our minds?

Jayden developed that idea into an entire fictional ecosystem, combining psychological concepts with imaginative biology and creature design. Through his work, he hopes to encourage people to approach their inner experiences with curiosity, understanding and self-compassion while also creating a strange and entertaining world worth exploring.

Mind Entities: Volume 1 is his first published book.
